Mission 13: Prisoner of Cell Block X
Once the mission starts you have to take over the teleportation system by getting the spider to INFECT the main computer, free the queen and get everyone out via the central teleporter pad.
The INFECT command does four things - it allows escape through the main teleporter, it brings in remaining memebers of your squad, and it stops patrolmen from teleporting in. Unfortunately it also interferes with the devices holding Bast from Mission 11 & 12 (in the cell next door), and Demonika from Mission 7, who's encased in the giant concrete block next door.
You'll start the mission with just Ace and the Spider, and Devil Doll if she came along (since she can absorb the Spider's shrinking ability). Ace begins in giant form, but can use the Fly's size regulator (albeit ineptly) to shrink back down to normal size or shrink to microscopic size. His commands for doing so are deliberately obscure, but remember - the big red button makes him grow, the small blue one makes him shrink.
The rest of your squad will appear in the central computer room once the system is INFECTED, with the noticeable exception of Chaos. If you took her, she can be called out of the air-duct system at any time by using the CALL CHAOS command on any of the air vents - she'll then emerge in gaseous form when you need her.
Special Commands
The Spider can use special commands on all the door controllers to either OPEN them or JAM them shut, locking enemies in other rooms if desired.
She can also ANALYSE the showers in the corridor to the central teleporter, and ACTIVATE them to produce a mist that interferes with the patrol men's circuitry.
Once the Queen or JAck are free, anyone can use a CALL command to get them to follow- generally they'll follow the nearest hero until they reach the teleporter room, at which point they run for the main teleporter. Jack will follow a bit more loosely, beating up on prison guards if you're not too far away.
If either character gets left behind, send someone back to CALL them and get them moving with you again.
When Ace sees the Queen, he can GIVE STEREO to her - give her the walkman she requested and she'll quickly rig it to put out a mental blank field that affects the patrollers - she is after all an expert on the control of robots through music.
The other villains
Bast and Demonika will generally head towards the teleporters, but aren't above causing trouble for you on the way. Take them down if you canw ithout jeopardising your main mission.
Jack cna be freed by destroying the three turrets that keep her in stasis. If you get her out she joins your team asa recruit for free but you lose 2000 prestige points for recruiting yet another known criminal. The choice is yours. She doesn't have any special script enhancements, but its a chance to get a 13000 pt character on the cheap basically, at the cost of her initially limited repertoire of attacks. If you're using customs a lot, it may be a good idea to leave her behind and spend the 2000pts on your own character instead.
The normal prisoners will riot if released - attacking guards or your characters or whoever's nearby. Try not to daamge their cells as they're more trouble than they're worth.
