Hydra can manipulate individual strands of her hair to pick locks and other fine manipulation tasks, or control it in bulk to lift approximately 10 tons above her head. She is naturally strong and resilient, and able to bench press about 250kg without the use of her hair. Skills: Martial Arts Threat Level: 6 Madame Hydra was first encountered by the Challengers when she was sent to acquire some of their technology by art criminal Demian Triumph, the self-styled "most beautiful man in the world". She was subdued, Triumph's scheme was thwarted and the Challengers were able to convince her that Triumph's view of the world was not necessarily correct. Hydra claims to come from a matriarchal society of superhumans who gain their abilities from naturally occurring orgone mists that leak from the ground. Her first foray into the outside world left her stranded, as her city faded away into these mists before she could return. The Challengers are currently trying to verify these claims, and if possible, find a way for her to return. |
