Ego Grub Genus: Mentusian Entymology: The inhabitants of Mentus are physically underdeveloped thanks to Centuries of over-reliance on labour-saving machinery, and devote their time to studies of chess, latin, and other intellectual pursuits. Ego Grub was chosen as their champion with his record-breaking IQ score of 451, and elected to join the H.I.V.E. as their representative. His research into deep time travel is proving to be of great interest to his superiors, and is keeping his cell well-funded despite the questions being raised about their leader, Droso-9. Insect Traits: Ego Grub works from a mechanical hover-buggy, which has a built-in force field projector, allowing him to shield himself or others from harm, and move objects telekinetically using shaped force-field extensions. He is also exceptionally intelligent and resourceful, and has proven an asset to the H.I.V.E. in combat by finding unusual solutions to whatever problem he encounters.
